The Martha’s Vineyard Children’s Theater Camp has been sparking creativity and imagination on the Island for over 55 years. Founded by Island Theatre Workshop, the camp has long been a beloved summer tradition for generations of Island families. In 2023, Circuit Arts began stewarding the program, ensuring its continued presence and growth for Island youth. Today, as Circuit Arts merges with Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse, the Children’s Theater Camp enters a new chapter—joining with the Playhouse’s Summer Stars Children’s Theater Camp to build on the shared history, values, and creative spirit of both programs.
WHERE IMAGINATION TAKES CENTER STAGE
Designed for children ages 6 to 13, the camp invites young artists to explore every corner of the stage, from acting and movement to music, design, and improv. Each session culminates in an original production created entirely by the campers themselves, who dream up the story, design the set, and craft the costumes.
Led by professional theater directors, creative associates, and college theater majors, the program offers a supportive and joyful environment where kids can learn, collaborate, and shine.
Circuit Arts remains committed to building community through accessible, meaningful, and diverse arts experiences year round and Islandwide.
Circuit Arts’ EIN is 03-0550258.
Camp tuition may be eligible for the Child and Dependent Care Credit if the camp was chosen to provide care while a parent or guardian was at work.
